Code Of Conduct

KIKOFF Football is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all participants, spectators, staff and franchise partners

This Code applies to:

  • Players (adults and juniors)
  • Parents and guardians
  • Spectators
  • Coaches and referees
  • Casual hire groups
  • Event participants
  • Visitors to KIKOFF venues

All participants agree to comply with this Code as a condition of entry and participation.

 


1. Respect & Sportsmanship

All individuals must:

  • Treat players, officials, staff and spectators with respect.
  • Accept referee and staff decisions without abuse.
  • Display good sportsmanship at all times.
  • Encourage fair play.

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Verbal abuse
  • Threatening behaviour
  • Harassment or bullying
  • Discriminatory language
  • Intimidation

 


2. Zero Tolerance for Violence

KIKOFF has zero tolerance for:

  • Fighting
  • Physical aggression
  • Intentional striking
  • Spitting
  • Deliberate attempts to injure another participant

Any act of violence may result in:

  • Immediate removal from venue
  • Suspension or permanent ban
  • Loss of registration fees
  • Referral to police where appropriate

 


3. Player Conduct

Players must:

  • Play within the spirit and rules of the game.
  • Wear appropriate footwear and equipment.
  • Report injuries immediately.
  • Follow all venue safety instructions.

Dangerous play, reckless challenges or repeated unsporting behaviour may result in removal from play.

 


4. Parent & Guardian Behaviour

Parents and guardians must:

  • Support children positively.
  • Not coach from the sidelines unless appointed.
  • Respect referees and staff.
  • Supervise children in spectator areas.

Abusive behaviour toward children, officials or other parents will result in removal.

 


5. Spectator Conduct

Spectators must:

  • Remain in designated viewing areas.
  • Not enter playing surfaces unless authorised.
  • Not interfere with matches.
  • Accept risk of being struck by balls.

KIKOFF reserves the right to remove any spectator acting inappropriately.

 


6. Anti-Discrimination & Inclusion

KIKOFF is committed to providing an inclusive environment.

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Racism
  • Sexism
  • Homophobia
  • Religious discrimination
  • Disability discrimination
  • Any form of hate speech

Breaches may result in suspension or permanent exclusion.

 


7. Alcohol & Substance Policy

Unless explicitly advertised for specific licensed events:

  • Alcohol is not permitted on premises.
  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted in playing or spectator areas.
  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

Intoxicated individuals may be refused entry or removed.

 


8. Facility & Equipment Care

All users must:

  • Respect playing surfaces and facilities.
  • Use equipment as intended.
  • Report damage immediately.

Individuals or teams may be charged for wilful or reckless damage.

 


9. Social Media Conduct

Participants must not:

  • Post abusive or defamatory content about KIKOFF, staff, referees or participants.
  • Share footage intended to shame or incite hostility.

KIKOFF may suspend or ban individuals for serious online misconduct connected to its activities.

 


10. Safety & Supervision

  • Participants under 16 must be supervised unless enrolled in a supervised KIKOFF program.
  • Casual hire groups are responsible for their own conduct.
  • Emergency instructions from staff must be followed immediately.

 


11. Disciplinary Process

KIKOFF reserves the right to:

  • Issue warnings
  • Suspend players
  • Ban individuals
  • Forfeit matches
  • Remove spectators
  • Refuse future bookings

Serious breaches may be escalated to governing bodies or law enforcement.

All disciplinary decisions are at KIKOFF’s discretion.

 


12. Acceptance

Participation in any KIKOFF activity constitutes agreement to this Code of Conduct.

Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
