General
About KIKOFF, our venues and how to get started.
What is KIKOFF Football?
KIKOFF Football is a social football brand founded in 2013. We run 5-a-side and futsal-style leagues, weekly kids coaching, school-holiday camps, kids parties and casual pitch hire across Sydney — all designed to be fun, inclusive and community-led.
Where are KIKOFF venues located?
We operate across Sydney including Northern Beaches (Curl Curl), Canterbury (Lakemba) and Eastern Suburbs (Eastgardens). Use the location switcher at the top of the website to see what is available near you.
Do I need my own team to play?
Not always. Adult leagues can be joined as a full team or as an individual — we will place solo players into a team where possible. Open games and many activities are designed for individuals to turn up and play.
How do I pay?
You can book and pay online for pitch hire, league registration, coaching, camps and open games. We accept card payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) through our secure checkout. Some bookings also support account credits where applicable.
How do I contact KIKOFF?
Visit the Contact page for your nearest location, call or SMS the venue directly, or email hello@kikoff.com.au. Each location page also has a contact form.
Is KIKOFF suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Our leagues, coaching and open games welcome all skill levels. The focus is on enjoyment, inclusion and community — not elite academy pressure.
Leagues
Adult and junior 5-a-side competitions.
Is this futsal or outdoor soccer?
Our leagues use 5-a-side and futsal-style rules on caged pitches — fast, technical games in a social format. Eastern Suburbs runs 6-a-side on open pitches; Northern Beaches and Canterbury use caged 5-a-side pitches.
How do I register a team for an adult league?
Find your location, browse open competitions and choose Register a team. You will enter team details, accept the terms and choose a payment option (pay in full, deposit, weekly auto-charge where offered, or join the waitlist).
Can I join a league as an individual?
Yes. Select Register as an individual on the competition page. We will place you in a team or hold your registration until a spot opens, depending on the competition.
What payment options are available for leagues?
Teams can usually pay in full (often with a discount), pay a deposit, set up weekly auto-charge (requires a saved card), or join the waitlist if the competition is full. Options vary by season — they are shown at registration.
How do junior leagues work?
Junior competitions are for children registered by a parent or guardian. You can create a team and share a join code with other families, join an existing team with a code, or register without a team and our staff will help with placement.
Are the leagues competitive?
They are competitive enough to be fun, but designed to stay friendly and social. Divisions are structured so teams of similar ability can enjoy the season.
When will I hear back after registering?
Once your registration payment is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email. Fixtures and season details are published on the competition page and in your KIKOFF account at my.kikoff.com.au.
How do I add players to my team?
Team managers can invite players from their team roster page in the my.kikoff.com.au portal. Junior teams can share a join code so other parents can register their children to the same team.
What are the league rules?
Each competition follows our senior 5-a-side league and game rules — available from your location team or on request. Rules cover slide tackles, contact, substitutions and code of conduct to keep games safe and enjoyable.
Casual pitch hire
Book a pitch for a kick-around, training or social game.
How do I book a pitch?
Choose your location, go to Book a Pitch, pick a duration, date and available time slot, then confirm your booking and pay online. You can book as a guest or sign in to your KIKOFF account.
How long can I book for?
Casual hire durations depend on your location and pricing setup — typically from 60 minutes upward. Available durations are shown when you select a date.
How many players can play?
Our caged pitches suit 5-a-side games — up to 10 players for a full game, or fewer for a casual kick-around. Eastern Suburbs 6-a-side pitches can accommodate slightly larger groups.
Can I book a regular weekly slot?
Yes. When booking, you can set your slot to repeat weekly for up to several weeks. Recurring bookings are charged per session.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations outside the notice window (typically 48 hours before your booking) receive an account credit for the paid amount. Late cancellations may receive a credit only if the slot is re-booked from the waitlist. Manage bookings at my.kikoff.com.au.
Can I join a waitlist if my time is full?
Yes. If your preferred slot is taken, you can join the waitlist for that date. When a slot opens we will notify you by SMS and email — you have 15 minutes to confirm and pay before the offer passes to the next person.
Can I use account credits at checkout?
Yes. If you have an active account credit at that location it can be applied when paying by card for a casual booking.
Do you hire pitches for external competitions?
Venue hire for external competitions or events may be available — contact your local KIKOFF venue directly to discuss requirements and pricing.
Coaching
Weekly kids football programs.
What ages is coaching for?
Our weekly coaching programs are designed for children, with age-appropriate groups at each location. Check the coaching page for your venue for current age ranges and session times.
Do you offer a free trial?
Many programs offer a free trial session so your child can try before committing to a term. Look for the free trial option on the program page or contact your location.
Do I need to commit for a whole term?
You enrol term by term — there is no long-term lock-in. Pro-rata pricing may apply if you join part-way through a coaching term.
What should my child bring?
Boots, shin pads, a water bottle and sunscreen. We supply balls and coaching equipment. Wear comfortable sportswear.
What is the coaching philosophy?
Fun first. Sessions focus on confidence, fundamental skills and a love of football — not academy-style pressure. Our coaches create inclusive, positive environments for every child.
How do I register for coaching?

What ages are parties suitable for?

How many kids can come?
Packages cater for up to 12 or up to 24 children depending on the package you choose. Larger groups may use two pitches.
Do you provide everything?
Yes — dedicated coaches run the activities and we supply all equipment. You bring the kids, the cake and any party food you would like.
What party packages are available?
Packages vary by location and may include standard football games, bubble soccer add-ons and different pitch sizes. See the parties page or contact your venue for current packages and pricing.
How do I book a party?
Submit an enquiry through the parties page form or contact your nearest KIKOFF location. Our team will confirm availability, package options and next steps.
Can we add bubble soccer?
Yes — bubble soccer is a popular add-on at participating locations. Mention it when you enquire and we will include it in your quote.
Open games
Drop-in social football sessions.
What are open games?
Open games are casual, organised social football sessions. Book a spot online, turn up and play — no team commitment required.
Do I need a team?
No. Players are mixed into teams on the day. Just book your spot and arrive ready to play.
How do I book?
Visit the open games page for your location, choose an upcoming session and pay online. Spaces are limited so book ahead.
What skill level are open games?
All welcome. Sessions are social and inclusive — a great way to get a run without joining a full league season.
