· 4 min read · KIKOFF Football
If you want mixed 5-a-side in Sydney on a weeknight, Wednesday Mixed KIKOFF at Curl Curl is the one to look at. It is an adult 5-a-side league for teams of men and women playing together. Team entry is $1,700. It runs from Monday 7 September 2026 to Sunday 20 December 2026, on floodlit caged pitches at KIKOFF Northern Beaches, and registration is open. We run it with our partner NBFA.
What mixed 5-a-side means
Mixed, or coed, 5-a-side is small-sided football where one team fields both men and women. It is social first. You turn up, play your game and have a laugh with the other teams afterwards.
If you have been searching for mixed social soccer in Sydney, this is a proper organised version: a set league, set opponents and a season you can plan around.
Wednesday mixed football at Curl Curl
Wednesday Mixed KIKOFF is held at KIKOFF Northern Beaches on Bennet Street, Curl Curl. The venue has 4 caged 5-a-side pitches with futsal line markings, under lights on synthetic turf. You can play soccer or futsal. It is not an open pitch, so the cage keeps the ball in play and the game moving.
The format is 5-a-side. The league is run with NBFA (Northern Beaches Futsal Association), our partner for the Northern Beaches summer competitions.
How mixed is organised
The competition is graded as mixed, and entry is by team. One person registers the team and the squad plays together all season. We have not set out a specific mixed-player ratio here, so check the league rules before you register your squad. The league game rules are the place to confirm how games work.

Team or individual?
Wednesday Mixed KIKOFF is a team competition. You enter as a squad, not as a single player. If you do not have a team yet, a captain with a few mates and a group chat is all it takes to start one. If you want to play solo, the open games option below is built for that.
On the night, turn up in time to warm up, wear boots or turf shoes suited to synthetic, and bring water. Your fixture details come through the league.
