Players on a floodlit caged 5-a-side pitch with futsal line markings at Harbord Bowling Club in Curl Curl

Soccer in Curl Curl at the Bowlo

If you are after soccer in Curl Curl, KIKOFF Northern Beaches is set up on Bennet Street at Harbord Bowling Club. There are four caged 5-a-side pitches with futsal line markings, floodlit and open year-round. You can play straight soccer or futsal here, for a weeknight game, a junior league, school holiday camp or a casual hit-up with mates. Summer competitions are live now, running through to December, alongside coaching and camps for kids. Once the whistle blows, the Bowlo is right there for food and drinks.

What KIKOFF Northern Beaches actually is

This is caged small-sided football with futsal markings, not an open pitch. That setup suits fast, technical soccer or futsal, with the cage keeping the ball in play and the game moving. It works for social adult teams, junior development leagues, and anyone looking for 5-a-side Manly locals can walk or drive to easily.

Harbord Bowling Club, Bennet Street

Harbord Bowling Club soccer at KIKOFF Northern Beaches means four floodlit synthetic pitches, all caged, all marked for futsal as well as soccer. Games run through the evening under lights, so short winter days are not an issue. Call the venue on 02 9119 3675 if you need details before you turn up. There is parking around the club, and the Bowlo itself is the easiest place to eat and drink once you are off the pitch.

Futsal Curl Curl and the NBFA partnership

The Northern Beaches Futsal Association (NBFA) is our partner for the summer competitions here. They help run the men's, women's, mixed and junior leagues that fill the pitches from September through December. It is the same caged, futsal-marked surface, so games move between soccer and futsal rules depending on the competition.

What is running now

Summer registration is open. Adult competitions include Monday Over 35 Mens, Monday Ladies 5, Tuesday Ladies 1/2, Tuesday Over 40s Mixed, Wednesday Ladies 3/4, Wednesday Mixed KIKOFF and Thursday Mens 6, each a $1,700 team entry, run with NBFA, starting Monday 7 September 2026 and finishing Sunday 20 December 2026. There is also the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter Cup, an Open Mixed team competition at $495 entry, on Sundays.

Junior leagues cover a wide age range. Friday Night U6 (4pm) and U7 (5pm) are individual entries at $250, starting Friday 11 September 2026 and finishing Friday 18 December 2026. Monday U6 Mixed is $210 individual entry, run with NBFA, over the same September to December window. Girls' leagues include Tuesday U8/9, Tuesday U15/16, Wednesday U11/12 and Wednesday U13/14, each $210 individual entry. Wednesday U18 Boys is a $1,700 team entry, and Thursday U16 Boys is $210 individual entry. All run with NBFA from Monday 7 September 2026 to Sunday 20 December 2026.

For younger kids, Little Kickers classes for ages 2.5 to 3.5 and 3.5 to 5 run on Sundays and Wednesdays, priced at $90, through to Friday 25 September 2026. Spring Holiday Camps for U6 to U11 run from Monday 28 September 2026 to Friday 9 October 2026, priced at $225 per week or $75 per day, lining up with the NSW spring school holidays.

How to get involved

Adult leagues need a full team to register, so round up your side before you enter. Junior leagues, including the Friday night U6 and U7 sessions and the girls' competitions, take individual registrations, so kids can sign up solo and get placed into a team. Bring shin pads, a water bottle and boots suited to synthetic turf. Check what to bring if you are not sure what is needed on the night.

On game day, turn up a little early to find your pitch, meet your team if you are joining as an individual, and get warmed up before kickoff. Games are run to time, so once your slot starts, play moves quickly. Afterwards, head into the Bowlo for something to eat before you head home.
