Womens social soccer Sydney: your spring options
If you are after womens social soccer Sydney has two solid venues running right now: KIKOFF Eastern Suburbs at Eastgardens and KIKOFF Northern Beaches at Curl Curl. Between them there are five ladies nights across 6-a-side and 5-a-side formats. Games are social but organised, with fixtures, divisions by standard, and a proper end to the season before summer. Beginners are welcome. You can enter as a full team, or turn up as a pair or trio and get placed. Eastern Suburbs ladies football starts 28 September and 1 October, and Northern Beaches ladies football is already underway from 7 September, with late entry sometimes possible if spots remain.
What ladies social soccer at KIKOFF looks like
This is small-sided football built for adults who want a regular weeknight game without club training and rep-level pressure. Teams are graded so you are playing women of a similar standard, not thrown in against a squad that trains twice a week. It suits players coming back after a break, players moving off winter club football for summer, and anyone who just wants a run around with mates on a set night.
Ladies 6-a-side at Eastern Suburbs
KIKOFF Eastern Suburbs sits at 79 Corish Cir, Eastgardens, on open floodlit synthetic pitches — four 6-a-side pitches plus one 5-a-side pitch. It is open pitch football with kick-in restarts, not a cage, and it only runs September to December. Two ladies nights are on offer here: Wednesday Ladies Div 1 and Thursday Ladies Div 2, both 6-a-side. Both start Monday 28 September 2026 and finish Friday 18 December 2026. Team entry is $1,800, or $295 to enter as an individual and get placed into a team.
Ladies 5-a-side futsal at Northern Beaches
KIKOFF Northern Beaches is at Bennet Street, Curl Curl, on four floodlit 5-a-side pitches, played on line markings under futsal-style rules — no cage, kick-ins from the line. Ladies nights here run in partnership with NBFA, our Northern Beaches partner: Monday Ladies 5, Tuesday Ladies 1/2, and Wednesday Ladies 3/4. All three started Monday 7 September 2026 and finish Sunday 20 December 2026. Team entry is $1,700, booked through NBFA. Registration is open, so if you are reading this after the start date, it is worth calling to check for late spots.
How to enter as a team, pair or solo player
- Full team: round up your squad and register together under one team entry.
- Pair or trio: register together as individuals and ask to be placed as a group where the format allows.
- Solo: register as an individual entry and get matched into a team needing players.
- On the night: bring shin pads, a light and dark shirt if you have them, and water. Boots suited to synthetic turf work best at both venues.
Fixtures and results are managed through the season, and divisions are graded by standard so early results can shift where you land. If you are unsure which division suits your group, mention your experience level when you register.
FAQs
Is womens social soccer in Sydney only for experienced players
No. Divisions are graded by standard, so beginners and returning players are placed appropriately rather than against advanced sides. Both venues welcome new players, and you can note your experience level when registering so you land in a suitable division.
Can I join without a full team
Yes. Both venues accept individual registrations. At Eastern Suburbs individual entry is $295 for the ladies 6-a-side competitions. At Northern Beaches, ladies competitions are booked as a team entry of $1,700 through our partner NBFA, so check with them directly if you are entering without a full squad.
What is the difference between the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches formats
Eastern Suburbs is 6-a-side on open, uncaged floodlit pitches with kick-in restarts. Northern Beaches is 5-a-side, played to futsal-style rules on line markings with kick-ins from the line, no cage. Both are social and organised, just different formats and rulesets.
When do the ladies competitions run
Eastern Suburbs ladies 6-a-side (Wednesday Div 1 and Thursday Div 2) starts Monday 28 September 2026 and finishes Friday 18 December 2026. Northern Beaches ladies 5-a-side (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights) started Monday 7 September 2026 and finishes Sunday 20 December 2026.
Can I still join if the season has already started
Registration is currently open across all listed ladies competitions. For Northern Beaches, entries are managed through our partner NBFA, so contact them to check for late availability once a season is underway. For Eastern Suburbs, check current spots before the 28 September start.
What should I bring on the night
Bring shin pads and boots suited to synthetic turf. A light and dark shirt helps if bibs are not supplied. Bring water, especially as daylight hours extend into summer. Specific inclusions in your entry fee are outlined in our help article on what's included in your fee.
